Dark cobalt 25 Pf. stamp from the set marking the Vienna Spring Fair (Wiener Frühjahrsmesse) of 1941. The design features an equestrian statue of Prinz Eugen, symbolising the city as the Reich's gateway to the south-east.

This stamp has a dark blue colour speck inside the "5", which is strongly visible against the paler background shade. This particular error is not listed in the Michel specialised catalogue, but is listed in the more specialist Schantl listings (Feld 15) In mint hinged condition. CV 50,-.
