Perfect, just more tan than beige

I got this bag for my Lanikai concert ukulele. It’s a perfect fit, and very secure with the inner Velcro strap. The extra cushion at the bottom of the bag is also great for setting the bag down vertically. The hook on the back is super convenient when traveling (i.e. for coat/purse hooks in public restroom stalls). Inner padding is relatively thin though, so if you’re using this to protect an heirloom instrument or as a professional gig bag for regular/frequent use, a hard case would afford better protection.The external pockets provide plenty of space for a capo, snark tuner, and extra picks. I like this bag so much, I can use it as a regular backpack. The only thing I didn’t expect was the beige color being more tan than it is in the company photos. I was expecting it to be more white, but I don’t mind. 

Love the bag. Would purchase another.

Great looking bag. Colors were spot on.Very well constructed. Seams are all straight, even, and well sewn.Big - I don't own a hollow body (yet), but I believe this bag would fit one. Plenty of room for Strats, Tele's and other similarly sized guitars. nice neck strap inside bag controls guitar movement somewhat.Large pocket - should fit 8.5 X 11 sheet music.Several misc pockets - should fit the rest of my crap easily and will have extra room for more.... unfortunately.Padding seems to be of very good quality and protects areas that it should - Wraps around bottom and buts together where bag zips closed.This is a good bag that I won't hesitate to carry an expensive instrument in. There are bags with thicker padding out there. But you can get a hard case for less than what some companies want for their thick-padded bags.Only knock I have is that I wish that the Ibanez section of the label were larger. I had to look for it - but that's just whining.

Works perfect for Ibanez AM73B, but probably not for anything longer/taller

This gig bag is just the right size for my electric guitar, and its pockets are excellently sized to hold music books, iPads, cords, etc. It is lightweight, and there is a nice compliment of straps and handles you can use to carry it in a variety of ways. **In the Q&A section for this gig bag, there are multiple questions about whether this bag will work with semi hollow body electric guitars. This bag is definitely constructed for electric guitars, not the big acoustic guitars. I have an Ibanez AM73B electric semi hollow body guitar. It just barely fits, but it does. I would not imagine it would fit other guitars that are even 1/2' taller than mine. So I'm expecting there would be other semi hollow and hollow body electric guitars that it wouldn't work for, but thankfully, the bag is just barely tall enough for mine. If the dimensions work for your guitar, strongly encourage you to consider this bag!

I recently purchased an Ovation acoustic, so was looking for one bag that would accommodate the round back of the Ovation, a standard dreadnought, and a 12 string dreadnought. After searching through many brands I ran across the POWERPAD that not only had the right over all dimensions, it showed to be fully functional and most importantly - looked great. There are many generously sized pockets including one on top that is perfect for tuners and capo's. The pluses that really aren't explained well: There is one side zipper that goes low enough to insert the guitar with plenty of room, but doesn't go clear down to where the whole case flops open. Located on the bottom of the inside is the 'pad' that pulls up to fit larger guitars, and can be set down for smaller (shorter) guitars. This one feature allows a perfect fit for all three of my guitars, plus in the case of the Ovation, the pad in the 'up' position allows a great fit for the round back. The final feature that knocks this bag out of the ballpark is it has a sewn in 2' wide velcro strap that wraps around and 'locks' the neck in place! The carrying handles (side and rear) are strong and placed well. The only part I don't care for is the 'back pack straps' are not removable. This is not a huge deal, but it would be nice to be removable for people who do not ever use them. In summary, I recommend this Ibanez POWERPAD bag over all others in the mid to high price range. It's not a bag you would want to baggage check on a plane, but no gig bag should be. For good looks, function, and long lasting construction, this is the bag to get. It also comes in black, blue, and ivory (all with swede two tone design).

First thing's first...when I initially received my order in the mail, I wasn't too happy. Instead of receiving the IAB541BK, they sent me the IBB541...which is for an electric guitar. However, Amazon's customer service rep was amazing and I received just what I ordered 2 days later free of charge :)Now having the correct bag for my acoustic, I'm just about in love with this thing. It houses my Yamaha dreadnought guitar comfortably. The four pockets are great, I'm carrying a Snark tuner, capo, notebook, guitar cable, 2 sets of extra strings (in their boxes), a winder for changing strings and several back up batteries in 3 of the pockets with room still available for more stuff (and that's not including my iPad I'll store in the largest pocket). I've heard mixed opinions of the padding, so I'll give you my run down and hopefully in the end, with my given pics, it'll help you decide if this bag is for you or not.So padding...the padding in the side wall and bottom of the bag (the perimeter of the bag covered in the tan suede) has adequate 15mm thickness to protect your baby pretty well. I already knocked it into a wall on accident while testing it out with my guitar inside of it, not a scratch. Now the remaining side of the bag (along the zipper where you take your guitar out) is the only thing I'm unhappy about with this bag. It has me wondering why in the world Ibanez thought every other surface of your guitar needed that 15mm padding EXCEPT for this side, as if the zipper itself will protect your guitar.I read another review of someone else's and the said they wished Ibanez added a rubber protector pad or pads on the base of the bag for protection....well they kinda did but without compromising the exterior beauty. You'll see in one of my pics, it's an interior shot of the base of the bag, there is an additional 10mm thick padding that you just fold down so as long as its folded down and your guitar is in it, it'll rest on 25mm (15mm + 10mm) which gives your guitar ample base protection (I really love this feature). Another loved feature is the interior strap that secures the neck of your guitar...kudos. The padding of the front and back portions of your guitar are pretty nice too. I don't believe it's as thick as the 15mm side and bottom, but my guess is it's at least 10mm which is substantial.The colors look exactly like they do in person as they do in the advertised pics. Only thing I'd say is look into some kind of stain repellent to preserve the look of the suede. Also, the zippers are a sturdy metal which is great too. As you can see in the pics, the zipper you open to access your guitar does not fully unzip like some bags, allowing your guitar to drop out. On the top and bottom portions, it's zips about half way across those surfaces (so don't try to force it, duh).So in a nutshell the only reason I'm not giving this beauty a 5 star rating, is because of the lack of padding on the long zippered edge, loss some points with me on that. Other than that piece, it's all grade A.

This was purchased after going through several other disappointing purchases including hard cases which arrived with the edges of the material curling up and tacky residue on it. FINALLY I found quality! Even at more cost this would be a bargain. Ample padding, nice storage pockets, looks good, my Strat fits perfectly. Very happy!

This bag was exactly what I needed. I purchased it to protect an Ibanez J.Custom I purchased in Japan on its return flight to the US. I didn't want anything too padded that I would have trouble fitting in the suit closet on an airplane, but I didn't want anything too thin that it wouldn't provide any protection to my guitar.To the credit of this case, and to the staff of Delta Airlines, my guitar made it back to the US without a single scratch.The best feature of this case, other than the perfect amount of padding for regular transport use, is the strap that holds the neck in place on the inside. This prevents the guitar from sliding, and banging around, inside of the case. I absolutely love this gig-bag and trust my guitars inside of it.I would not recommend this for travel if you are not handling the guitar yourself, as it is not going to offer the same protection as a foam lined hard-case will. So do not check your guitar in this or you will be disappointed. But for stuffing a guitar in an overhead bin or suit closet, it works wonders!

I purchased the electric guitar version of the Ibanez Powerpad gig bag in Moss Green. For a gig bag, it is very nice looking and has plenty of storage for your guitar and a lot of accessories. There is a neck strap on the inside that you can utilize to secure your guitar so it doesn't shift while in transit (nice touch). The materials and construction of the bag look to be of nice quality.Where it loses a star is in the padding department. The bag is called 'Powerpad'.. but I would say that is a bit misleading. It does have some padding, but in my opinion it could have used twice as much. This bag would be good for someone who wants a stylish and great looking bag to occasionally take their guitar somewhere (me). If you are someone who is actively gigging and has your guitar out and about quite a but, then I would recommend you look elsewhere.I bought this bag to go with my newly purchased Ibanez Talman guitar. I figured, I banez guitar, Ibanez bag...... The guitar hit it out of the park, the bag though, not so much. I still like it, but wish it was more padded. My PRS SE electric guitar came with a nice PRS SE Premium branded gig bag that has probably double the padding and that is what I was expecting with this bag. So, I was a bit disappointed when I received it. Makes me wish I just bought another PRS gig bag instead, but my OCD part of me wanted the Ibanez bag to go with the Ibanez guitar...... live and learn. I'm still keeping it and it is a nice bag.

I cannot imagine a better soft gig bag for a bass guitar. Plenty of storage compartments for today's accessories and the option of a single handle or backpack hauling is wonderful. Highly recommended.
