This is a truly hand-hammered unisex gents ring designed to geometrically reflects the shape of any gemstone. This handsome style of ring is design # 386 in our online design selection catalog and features a short solid basket with an open back and a full bezel on the feature gem. The head of this design features a large face that takes the shape of the gemstone with rays of bead set accents running from the corners of the stone to the corners of the face. The head is slightly elevated above the band and the heavy band tapers sharply towards the rear.
The feature gem is a yellow green Peridot an untreated gem from Pakistan with eye clean clarity. This Peridot is faceted into a reuleaux trillion measuring 9.0 x 9.0 x 5.8 mm and weighing 2.96 carats.
The accent gemstones are white Sapphires with traditional heat only. These are well faceted 2 mm rounds from Ceylon.
Sapphire is the birthstone of September. It is a 9 on Moh’s hardness scale and is known to be tough and suitable for everyday wear in most designs.
Peridot is the birthstone for August, has a hardness of 7-7.5 on Moh’s scale and is suitable for use in most jewelry.
