Full complete copy. The book is really old, which printed 90 years ago, but not more late re-edition or modern reprint.
Near Fine condition, dirts, brown spots (foxing, paper oxidation), tears in pages, frayed edges, one sheet is damaged,
the cover is worn, one corner is glued, owner's signature at the beginning and end of the book, traces of time (see pictures)
Room 13 is a 1924 crime novel by the British writer Edgar Wallace.
It was the first in a series of books featuring the character of J. G. Reeder, a mild-mannered civil servant who is a brilliant detective.
In 1938 it was turned into the British film Mr. Reeder in Room 13 directed by Norman Lee and starring Peter Murray-Hill, Sally Gray
and Gibb McLaughlin as J. G Reeder.
In 1964 it was turned into a West German thriller Room 13 directed by Harald Reinl and starring Joachim Fuchsberger and Karin Dor.
This was part of a long-running series of Wallace adaptations made by Rialto Film.

и драматург, журналист, военный корреспондент. Более известен как Эдгар Уоллес. Является автором 175 новелл, 24 пьес
и огромного количества статей в периодических изданиях. Основоположник литературного жанра «триллер». По его произведениям
создано более 160 фильмов. Эдгар Уоллес работал корреспондентом агентства «Рейтер» и лондонской газеты «Daily Mail».
Умер писатель в Голливуде во время работы над сценарием фильма «Кинг-Конг» (1932).

Better known as Edgar Wallace. He is the author of 175 short stories, 24 plays and a huge number of articles in periodicals.
The founder of the literary thriller genre. Over 160 films have been created based on his works. Edgar Wallace was a correspondent
for "Reuters" and the London "Daily Mail". The writer died in Hollywood while working on the script for the movie "King Kong" (1932).
