Sound-only solder “SS-47”
For soldering the wiring, use Oyaide Electric's original sound-only solder “SS-47”. Normal solder has a tin purity of about 99.9% (3N) in terms of cost. "SS-47" further increases purity and eliminates impurities to the utmost, and adopts high-purity tin of 99.993% (4N) or more. Also, silver and copper are blended for the purpose of improving conductivity and preventing solder erosion. In addition, in the case of ordinary alloy solder, the compounding ratio of silver is 3 to 3.5%, but "SS-47" has a generous amount of 4.7%. In addition, 1.7% of copper, which has the highest conductivity next to silver among metals, is blended. With this compounding ratio, the conductivity was dramatically improved and the eutectic point was set at 217 degrees.

Of course, these compounding ratios are not judged only by numerical data and workability. I think that sound quality should be given the highest priority in order to be named as solder for audio. "SS-47" was created through numerous hearing tests of prototype models with various compounding ratios.
