Stunning hand blown opaque glass ovoid form vase, most likely created by one of the famous Stourbridge glass houses such as Stevens & Williams or Richardson's located in the Midlands, UK in the mid to late 19th Century.

This is a very detailed and complex vase with applied beading and acanthus banding, decorated with hand painted classical figures.

Measures 12.5" tall and 5.5" wide.

In overall good condition for age with most of paint still intact.  There is wear to the gold gilding around the rim of the piece, and a flake chip the bottom of the base.  One of the applied beads is also missing.  Please see photos for details.
