Hi! You're looking at a history of the conquest of the Aztec Capitol in Mexico by the Conquistador Cortes written by ELEANOR S. COLEMAN--the book is a STATED FIRST PRINTING published in 1968 (it was NOT published in 1981 as the pre-filled information incorrectly indicates) and is a HARDCOVER with the ORIGINAL DUSTJACKET.  This book is in excellent condition and the book itself has very light dustwear on the cloth cover and upper page edge and a small black mark on the bottom page edge near the spine end but NO other significant flaws; the dustjacket has a small removed publisher's sticker on the lower left of the front cover, partially removed sticker on the lower spine end, light dustwear on the right edge of the back cover, clipped upper and lower corners of the front inner flap, a slight sticker shadow on the upper right corner of the front cover, a tiny tear on the upper left corner of the back cover, very light dings on the spine tips, some light scuffs on the surfaces and just light shelfwear otherwise but NO other significant imperfections!  The book is titled The Cross and the Sword of Cortes and it was written by ELEANOR S. COLEMAN; it was published by Simon & Schuster in 1968 and is a STATED 1st PRINTING copy.

A fantastic find, and a beautiful copy of this book!
