I am a guitar, ukulele and music theory teacher based in Sheffield. I have been teaching for the last eight years and am constantly astounded at the poor quality instruments and accessories available to beginner students through eBay. It is very sad that so many charlatans sell rubbish to beginners or parents of budding musicians and consequently put them off learning.

These concert ukuleles are made by Octopus, a well-established UK based manufacturer who build reliable, quality instruments at affordable prices. They have mahogany necks, rosewood fretboards and saddles, Aquila Nylgut strings and a pine body which combine for a loud, bright tone and easy playability. The frets are really well finished (Got a Uke, a well known ukulele reviewer, was absolutely blown away by the quality of the soprano model of this uke- give his review a Google to see what I mean.) and the geared machine head tuners are of a high standard meaning that unlike many cheap instruments, these hold their tuning really well. All in all these are a superb, easy to play instrument for beginner or intermediate ukulele enthusiasts and offer the absolute best value you will find at this price point. They also come with a free Octopus branded canvas bag as standard, which has a handle on the side for ease of portability.

If you decide that you no longer want your instrument I am happy to accept returns within 30 days of purchase date for a full refund, so long as the item is returned in its original condition and with all its packaging and accessories.

This is a superb instrument at a very reasonable price, but as my shop is tiny I only carry a small stock, so get one quick before I run out!
