Unlike some chain wax's Rock Oil Chain Wax is a thin lubricant which allows deep penetration into the chain links coating and lubricating from the inside out. Once dried it forms a highly slippy `anti-fling` wax like film, preventing dirt and water from penetrating into the links causing corrosion and excessive wear.
