A number of gates were discovered during an archaeological dig. People quickly realized that these ancient passages lead to different areas and dimensions. Rynoka, a small trading village, was found near the excavation site - and was a treasure beyond measure for brave and ruthless adventurers.
Moonlighter is an action role-playing game with rogue-lite elements that shows two sides of the coin - and reveals the daily routine of Will, an adventurous shopkeeper who secretly dreams of becoming a hero.
Retail store
While running your business in Rynoka, you can put items up for sale, carefully price them, manage gold reserves, hire assistants, and upgrade the store. Be careful though - some shady people may want to steal your precious goods!
Meet the villagers
Getting to know the people of Rynoka and understanding the needs of the customers is crucial. Some people have special tasks for you, request rare items, and offer nice rewards for them.
Handicrafts & enchants
Artisanal and enchanting system is essential for your progress. By interacting with the villagers, you can craft new armor and weapons, and enchant existing equipment. This creates a great deal of flexibility and sharpens the way the equipment is used.
Get the loot
When you visit other worlds, collect valuable resources, weapons, armor, treasures and special artifacts. Then process acquired loot with unique inventory-based skills.
Fight in style
Defeat different opponents and bosses and enjoy the challenging and deep combat mechanics. The depth of combat depends on the interactions between weapons, skills, enemies and secondary effects of the items. Feel comfortable developing your own fighting style.
Open the gates
Gates lead to different worlds. Each run is unique and forces you to make some wise decisions. You never know what will happen next - so you have to be prepared for anything.
