NO switch FO Scan PRO
Q:When I connect this adapter, and run Fo scan, the fo scan shows connection fail. Is it broken?
A:This item needs install CH340 USB driver first. Please download ‘CH340 driver for fo scan’,
Installed driver, check Windows Device manager. Is there CH340 device at com/LPT ports column or not.
If yes, it means install successful. Otherwise, install driver again or contact seller solve.
Q: I connected the For scan tool and it says “ the adapter is not recommended for this car - some fo can functions may not be available or not work properly”
A: First, this adapter works good,when connected OK.
There are some solutions for your consider.
Replace old version of fo scan software,new version software designs for all types adapter,includes USB cable,bluetooth etc. When software detects this adapter is not bluetooth one, it will shows that message. Some function,which need bluetooth,would not works. Other function as normal. Some modules needs licese apply from For scan software.
Replace bluetooth adapter.
If you mind this error message ,it is better give up buy this item.
Q: Fo scan software limited some modules, software ask me change to their recommended adapter, does not works now?
A: Keep currently version or use old version for scan. Make sure these functions works in these old version for scan,do not update to new version for scan.

Why do you need an Extend license？
1. This license is not restricted by us, it is restricted by the fo scan software provider
2. Used to restrict access to key functions. For example, PATS key programming function. If the software is completely released, all the software and the Fo scan ELM327 cable can program a new car key in a few seconds. This is too insecure for all users.

Q: This adapter could not be found in this software, is it bad?
A: Download USB driver from fo can website, and install it.
Make sure laptop USB port working good and read other USB device successful.The windows device manager could read USB device, when you connect it.
