About Wild Sky Gear
Wild Sky Gear was started by Skye McGregor, a British 15 year old who hiked Lands’ End to John O'Groats solo. I hiked through the winter and to keep my pack light started making my own gear and then sold some of the surplus. This turned out to be a bit more successful than I had anticipated, and now I’m constantly sewing.

Water resistance:
The fabric has a rating of 20,000mm – over 12X the legal waterproof threshold. The seams are taped and it has a Aquaguard zip so usually it is very highly water resistant, but you must always protect moisture sensitive items with a zip lock bag, and don’t use these for swimming, diving or general watersports.
