About Wild Sky Gear
Wild Sky Gear was started by Skye McGregor, a British 15 year old who hiked Lands’ End to John O'Groats solo. I hiked through the winter and to keep my pack light started making my own gear and then sold some of the surplus. This turned out to be a bit more successful than I had anticipated, and now I’m constantly sewing.

Waterproofing:
With truly waterproof fabric, fully taped seams, and an AquaGuard zip, this product is "very highly water resistant". The thing is water is actually rather sneaky and seems to make it's way into everything, accordingly I would recommend protecting moisture sensitive items with a zip lock bag (like all manufacturers).
