Installation method, please refer to the LR-PK installation instructions:
Step one: Remove the original leica R lens mount
1: Set the LR lens aperture to the maximum, and focus ring to the the closest focus distance.
2: Remove six screws from lens mount, hold the lens upright while gently pull up the lens mount, please pay attention to the steel ball for aperture positioning, it may stay on the rear of lens or lens mount you have justpulled off, find it and take out carefully.
- 3: Remove 2-cam or 3-cam, then two spacer from both side.
- 4: Please keep removed parts from lens safely, for restore the LR lens later if you need.
Step two: Install Yeenon LR lens to PK mount adapter
1: Put the steel ball for aperture positioning on the spring hole, it will be better if apply some grease in the hole
2: Align the corresponding row of holes on the adapter to the steel ball on the lens, and six screw holes on the adapter and lens roughly aligned, put the adapter to lens vertically, rotate the adapter to assure proper alignment for six screw holes on the adapter and the lens if needed.
Do remember to keep the lens upright and aperture to the maximum, focus ring to the the closest focus distance.
3: Hold down the adapter on lens by hand,rotate the aperture ring to see whether the aperture positioned steel ball in the proper place or not. if everything is ok, install three screws first, then try rotate the aperture ring again to test the aperture positioned, install other three screws if no problem, and and tighten all the screws.
4: Setup the aperture travel limit of the lens
Set the lens aperture to the maximum, (Figure: 2.8) loosen the screw on the figure, pull out the limit part to the lever at the edge, and then tighten the screws.
- Set the lens aperture to the minimum,loosen the screw on the figure, pull out the limit part to the lever at the edge, and then tighten the screws.
