Overprint issue from the People's Republic (Volksstaat) of Württemberg in south-western Germany, with new values applied in August 1923 during the onset of the inflation crisis in Germany. This is the dark rose-red 40 Pfennig Dienstmarke overprinted in black ink with a new value of 20,000 Marks. The design is a rework of the previous denomination in rhombus layout.

In mint hinged condition. This item will be sent in standard delivery in a card-backed envelope.
