The Spirit of St Francis de Sales, translated from the French of the Cure of St Sulpice by Rev. Cornelius J. Warren, C.SS.R., (Redemptorist), published by Mission Church Press, Boston, Mass. This is the stated second edition dated 1912 with full Catholic Imprimatur by the Archbishop of Boston, made in USA.

Smaller sized, 7 ½ by 5 1/8” in maroon hardcover, with embossed gilded title on the front, title also on the spine, one b/w illustration of the saint as frontispiece, 246 pages.

It is a scarce and collectible book on the spirituality of this famous French saint, author of the Introduction to the Devout Life. Condition graded as Almost fine, with text very fresh and clean, but note discoloration from cello tape residue on Table of Contents page ( see photo #3 and one small nick on one page of the text only near the left hand top. (See photo #7).
