Germany Deutsches Reich 1920 Mi. Nr. 134 PF IX 3M Bavaria Definitive Overprint USED Expertised / Geprüft INFLA, Weinbuch, CV EUR 100,-

Large size grey-turquoise 3 Mark definitive issue originally issued by the Free State of Bavaria, overprinted in 1921 with "Deutsches Reich" following the former kingdom's incorporation into the newly-formed Weimar Republic. The design is the Bavarian coat of arms.

This is the scarce plate fault/Plattenfehler IX, where a printing error has created what looks like a "double tail" on the "D" in "Deustches". Deeply expertised/geprüft by INFLA Berlin and Dieter Weinbuch BPP.  In used condition with clean, well positioned but unidentifiable circular postmark dated 7th September 1920.

Catalogued in the Michel specialist volume at EUR 100,-. This item will be sent by tracked/signed delivery on a stock card, in a card-backed envelope.
