Description

These Bells are crafted in a fun mix of colors and within the realms of Kashmiri Paper Mache, which is an ancient craft born in Central Asia. The art form uses remnants of paper to create luxurious pieces of home and Christmas Decor. 

Papier mache items are all hand crafted in Kashmir  multi coloured floral design.

Papier machie is a traditional art which has been passed down from generation to generation since the 15th century.

It is a relatively simple, but time consuming process done in 2 stages,

The first stage is known as Sakhtsazi (making the bell), And the second stage is Naqashi (painting the bell).

Intricate designs are painted on by hand using a variety of vibrant colors. Finally each item is then varnished and lacquered to protect it.
