Not often found with key, tender, and working!

You are looking at a very scarce early clockwork (wind up) German tinplate steam locomotive. I believe it to be BUB or ISSMAYER. Issmayer made trains for Bub, Bing, and Hess, and the closest I have found is Issmayer and Bub. If it is not Issmayer, most likely Karl Bub.

It is 6" long and about 1 1/2" wide. "CBN" is under the cab.

See our other listings for a tinplate tender we found in the same collection--may be a match. Listed separately because we were not sure, and the loco is in rougher shape.

CONDITION: AS IS. ROUGH. Missing cowcatcher and left side steam chest. Key does turn (I did not try much as I did not want to ruin), and the wind up motor does go some. Lots of rust and surface oxidation. Wheels here. Great for parts or restoration. Pictures show it all.

Sure to be a unique addition to your train collection...

At our discretion, we may add, at our expense, signature confirmation and/or insurance to more expensive orders. These features require someone be present at time of delivery, so if you do not want this feature and accept responsibility for the shipment, please let us know ahead of time.

Terms of Sale

We do accept returns within 30 days. Unless there was an error on our end, return shipping is paid by the buyer and the price of the item is refunded upon receipt of iback at Lone Star Trains. If we made a mistake, we pay the return shipping. Items must be in the same condition as when we shipped. We cannot accept returns on orders that were shipped new and then opened. If there is a problem, such as an error in description or condition, we accept returns within 30 days.
