British Restrike Engraving "IMPENDING DANGER"


This is a beautiful restrike engraving.  It is of an equestrian steeple chase although some have said that it is a fox hunt.  The original plates for this engraving were created in the late 1800's.  In 1900's additional printings were done and hand colored.  It has Mc Queen's Sporting and the top, and John Sturges and C. Hunt at the bottom. Its overall size is a large 26" x 22".  Image size is 16" x 13 1/2".
