Antique Victorian large handled vanity mirror, c. early 1900's, from an unknown American producer. Oval shaped interior mirror is housed in a clear and translucent brown and tan, faux-tortoise-shell-esque celluloid body. Mirror shows a thin single-bevel around it's exterior edge, while a double-edged bevel wraps around the celluloid case. Unmarked item.
Measures 12 1/2" Long x 8" Wide x 3/8" Thick, with a 6 3/4" L x 4 3/4" W mirror.
Good condition showing surface wear, nicks, and scratching associated with general use. Light surface stains/spots and scratching on the front side. Backside shows a prominent, semi-deep "C" shaped scratch roughly 2" up from the end of the handle (picture 4). Mirror is clean and only shows minor wear around it's outside edge.
