This auction is for a nice linen postcard showing the Floral Clock at the Greenfield Village on the Edison Institute in Dearborn, Michigan. Once a familiar landmark in Detroit, this unique timepiece is one of the most popular attractions in Greenfield Village. The face is made of more than 9,000 plants arranged to form the design of the numerals and dial. It was originally powered by drops of water hitting a paddlewheel at measured intervals.
