Item Descriptions:

AD&D Monster Manual

Hard back copy of the Monster Manual - this copy is from the 5th print run which dates it to 1980.

The Monster Manual was the first of the Hardback Rule Books produced for Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, and remains one of the hardest to find in good condition.

EX Copy - This is one of the best copies I have seen, very little shelf wear, undamaged corners and the colours are bright.

VG Copy - Is 6th print (1981). Some general shelf wear, particularly to corners, and a name and address inside fly sheet.

AD&D Players Handbook

The Players Handbook was the second hard back publication for AD&D, first published in 1978.

This is a seventh print edition which dates it to 1981, with the first cover art.

It's rare to find a 1st Edition Players Handbook in anything resembling good condition, as they were the most used book.

This copy is very nice for it's age. There are some minor scuffs to the cover and a name written in the fly - see pictures.

Other than that it's a great book. The pages are clean and the spine is solid.

AD&D Players Handbook - Second Cover

This is the second cover edition from 1983, featuring the blue wizard.

Still has the cover sticker which basically says, "same book, new art work".

A little scuffed in the corners, a name inside the fly sheet and a couple of coffee stains, but a good solid book.

AD&D Dungeon Masters Guide

This is the sixth print of the original First Edition Dungeon Masters Guide, printed in 1980 by TSR.

It is also the first print to include the final tally of 238 pages (adding appendixes O and P)

This copy has had the front fly sheet removed and has some annotation inside.

Notes do not obscure the print, but show use. See photos.

Spine is solid and the book is 100% useable.

AD&D Dungeon Masters Guide - Second Cover

This is the 8th print of the First Edition Dungeon Masters Guide, form 1983.

All the core books were reprinted in 1983 with updated artwork and orange spines.

Internally it is identical to the 6th and 7th print, it's just the cover and spine that differ.

This copy has been laminated and is very nice condition for it's age.

There is a little damage to the lamination on one corner and a name written inside the fly sheet, otherwise great.

AD&D Fiend Folio

TSR's 1981 expansion to the Monster Manual.

This book was delayed by legal action (a dispute between TSR and Games Workshop) and only a relatively few were sold.

Dozens of new beasties to expand your campaign.

VG+ copy SOLD

EX copy has a name inside fly and some scratches to the cover which are only visible from an angle.

AD&D Unearthed Arcana

This is the 1985 hardback expansion book for first edition Advanced Dungeons and Dragons.

It's designed as a supplement to both the Players Handbook and the Dungeon Masters Guide and as such is split into 2 parts - one for the player and one for the dungeon master.

It's the first supplement to introduce the "sub-races" as player character (Drow, Drungar etc.) and also introduces a number of prestige classed such as barbarian and cavalier.

SOLD

Dragonlance Adventure

The start of a monstrous campaign, this 1st Edition book introduces us to the world of Krynn.

As soon as they realised the scale of the Dragonlance Saga Modules a hard back source book was commissioned, this is it.

Dedicated purely to Krynn and running the Dragonlance Saga this is a highly sought after book and hard to find in good nick.

EX Copy - SOLD

VG+ Copy - Slightly more corner damage and a name written inside the fly, but still a very good copy indeed.

AD&D Oriental Adventures

The first AD&D book to move away from the original fantasy setting and introduce a different historical setting.

This book digs in to both history and mythology of Japan - ever fancied a playing a Samurai or a Ninja - this book is for you.

A load of new character classes, spell, equipment and monsters.

This copy has a couple of nasty scratches to the back cover and a bit of damage to the corners - see pics.

Internally it's fine, no writing (not even a name on the fly sheet), no rips, tears or creases.

AD&D  Dungeoneers Survival Guide

This 1986 hardback delves deep into the Underdark.

Again split into a players part and a DMs part it introduces some of the classic races like Drow and Duergar, plus new feats and magic.

On top of that it introduces detailed rules for all sorts of dungeon crawling issues.

EX Copy has a couple of very minor cover dings and a name written inside the fly, otherwise no damage.

VG Copy has a fair amount of cover and spine damage, but is solid and complete. Internally it's fine.

Eberron - Campaign Setting

Eberron as a setting was the result of a competition run by Wizards Of The Coast for 3.5 Edition.

This resulting world is created by Keith Baker, who had no previous game design experience.

It's a buccaneering, filmic world where the most spectacular things are possible.

This 320 page book, with fold out map is all you need to start playing in this amazing setting.

This copy is in immaculate condition - as new.

SOLD

AD&D Forgotten Realms Campaign Box Expanded 2nd Edition.

This is a copy of the 1996 Expanded 2nd Edition of the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting Box Set. It is a significant step up from the original 1993 box, and is much rarer...

The 1993 box contained 2 96 page books (one for players and one for DM) plus 4 maps and 2 hex map overlays, while the maps and overlays are common to both releases this box set has the following content:

"A Grand Tour of the Realms" – 128-page perfect-bound book describing the geographical regions of Faerûn

4 fold out maps

2 transparent hex-grid overlays for use with the maps.

SOLD

Al-Qadim - Arabian Adventures

A complete campaign setting, based around the classical Arabian legends of magic lamps and Djinn.

Theoretically located South East of Faerun in the Forgotten Realms, Al-Qadim can be wherever you need it.

It's an interesting campaign setting, very political and nothing is quite what it seems...

This is a 160 page soft backed book which really is everything you need to play in Al-Qadim.

SOLD

Players Handbook

This is the Second Edition Players Handbook, from 1995.

The 1995 edition expanded on previous edition adding a great deal more data.

It was also further expanded with 2 additional Players Options books, making character creation much deeper.

This copy is overall nice condition but the binding is starting to feel a little loose.

Will need to be handled with care, but is otherwise a really nice copy.

Legends and Law

Second edition updated version of the first edition Deities and Demigods.

This book details 11 real mythologies, their gods and heroes and their religious traditions.

Essential reading if you want to add a bit of Earth history to your campaign, or just have an interest in ancient mythology.

This copy has a couple of very minor cover dinks, but is otherwise lovely.

Tome of Magic

This is the 1991 hardback expansion book for second edition Advanced Dungeons and Dragons.

The Tome of Magic supplements the players handbook by introducing hundreds of new spells and magic items for all casting classes.

This copy has been fairly well looked after - a few scuff to the corners and cover are the only issues found - please see pictures.

Players Options: Skills and Powers

Second Edition expansion to the Players Handbook.

This book introduces loads of new skills, feats and proficiencies to flesh out your character.

This copy is in very nice condition, the only issues are a scratch on the back cover and a slight weakening of the bindings.

This is not a massively rare box, having sold plenty of copies, but to find it in this condition and 100% complete is rare. Short of a shrink wrapped copy you will not find better.

AD&D 3D Castles Box Set

This is a copy of the 1990 3D Castles Box Set. It is 100% complete and 100% unpunched, which makes it a very rare find.

AD&D Dark Sun - Dragon Kings

This 1992 hard back takes the Dark Sun campaign setting to the max - Level 10 Magic!

There are some massively OP spells in here, how about Raise Nation for a Necromancer?

It also details the changes at level 20, new psionic devotions, advanced beings and much more...

This copy has a little damage to the corners, as you can see from the photos, but has a solid spine and is great internally.

AD&D Dark Sun - Freedom

A flip-box format adventure for the Dark Sun Campaign Setting.

This was the first adventure published for Dark Sun and is designed to introduce players and give them a base of operations.

It's designed for four to seven starting level players - that's 3rd level in Athas.

This set contains:

Dungeon Master's Book - 48 page spiral bound

Player's Book - 48 page spiral bound

Shakles - 16 page novella with NPCs for the adventure

Flip envelope is a bit battered - see photos, but the contents are excellent.

A very rare adventure.

AD&D Dark Sun - Dragon's Crown

This is one of the very rare Dark Sun flip-book modules, comprising 7 discrete adventures and completing the "Freedom" series of adventures. The format is a large, light weight cardboard envelope rather than a box, which has meant that the vast majority of these have not survived the last 25 plus years intact.

This set contains the following:

Envelope with large scale map on flip.

"Out of the Valley" - 96 page book containing the first 3 adventures.

"The Road to Fire" - 96 page book containing the next 3 adventures.

It is very rare to find one of these sets in this sort of condition....

Monster Manual. 3rd Edition

Released in 2000 Third Edition Dungeons and Dragons is the first Wizards of the Coast edition of D&D.

It re-combines Dungeons and Dragons with Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, which had been separate games for decades.

The third edition was quickly updated to 3.5 (in 2003) which many players (myself included) view as the best rule set yet created.

The changes between 3rd and 3.5 are fairly minor and easily coped with by a good DM.

It's also by far and away the prettiest release of the game.

This is a 3rd Edition Monster Manual, one of the 3 core rule books - easily updated for 3.5 rules.

It's in as new condition, with no faults to record.

Dungeon Masters Guide. 3rd Edition with Original Larry Elmore sketch and signature.

Elmore was heavily involve in the art of Dungeons and Dragons, being lead artist on much of the Dragonlance material.

This is a 3rd Edition DMG which he has signed and drawn a sketch of an Elf maiden.

It's in as new condition, with no faults to record.

Fiend Folio

The Fiend Folio was never published in the Second Edition which went with the rather clunky Monstrous Compendium.

Third Edition ditched the ring binders and went back to the original format, we all breathed a sigh of relief.

Even by the high standards of E3 this is a very beautiful book.

Condition is like new.

Psionics Handbook

Third edition Psionics Handbook - everything you never wanted to know about the horrors of psionics.

New spells, feats, prestige classes, items and, of course, monsters that will eat your brain from outside your skull!

Delivery Information

Delivery will be via Hermes, tracked, for domestic buyers.

International delivery will be via Ebay Global Shipping Program for single items - for combined postage Internationally please see below.

We are always happy to combine postage, but please request before paying as we are not able to refund after payment has cleared. This is more important for International buyers as to combine postage we must opt out of the Global Shipping Program which is not possible after payment is made. If in doubt please message before paying and we'll be happy to advise you of the best course of action.

We try to drop packages off with the couriers within 2 working days. If you require a faster service, please get in contact, but there will be a surcharge.

Local collection is always an option, we're based in South Oxfordshire.

International Shipping Options

Most of our listings are listed by default under the Ebay Global Shipping Program as it give maximum international visibility to the listings. In many cases this is fine, and a very good system. For a single large or reasonably heavy (750g plus) the price you are charged is usually fair. If you are buying a single item of this sort of weight then we'd advise you just pay as usual and don't need to read on.
The problems with the Global Shipping Program are that it does not allow for combined shipping and does not account for items that can be sent as letters. We are happy to account for both situations but need you to request that we opt out of the Global Shipping Program, so if you are buying several items, or the item could be sent as a letter (Max dimensions: 300mm x 210mm x 25mm. Max weight: 750g), please follow the steps below...
First, and most importantly DO NOT PAY IMMEDIATELY. we  cannot opt out of the Global Shipping Program after you have paid for the auction, nor will we refund in this situation.
Once you have won, or pressed Buy It Now, on all the items you would like packaged together, go to your Shopping Basket, click on one of the items, and select either Request Total or Request Invoice from the Other Actions drop down. Once you have done this we will be able to opt out of the Global Shipping Program.
We will now send you an invoice with a fair price for shipping to wherever you are in the world and you just pay the one final invoice and we'll dispatch within 2 working days by Royal Mail International Standard Shipping. We're very happy to do this and it could save you a lot of money. Example: a customer in Germany recently purchased 3 comic books from us, Ebay Global Shipping Program would have cost over £60.00 for postage, by opting out and combining packaging we charged the customer £8.00.
If you'd like a more detailed instuctions or to enquire if it's worth your while, please feel free to message, we'll be happy to advise and offer an estimate of the costs involved.

Methods of Payment

PayPal is our prefered payment method, within 2 days of winning the item please.

Cash on collection as an alternative when collecting your item is fine.

We offer a 5% discount on final sale price for payment by Bitcoin or Etherium, if you'd like to pay this way please request a Crypto Invoice stating which currency you prefer and we will invoice you at the discounted price with our wallet details and dispatch when payment is received.

If you have a pressing reason to use an alternative method, please get in touch and we will try to accommodate you.

Returns

We do not accept returns unless the item is damaged or faulty.

If the item shows damage that was not highlighted in the listing, please photograph and let us know and we'll arrange for a return and refund.

If an item was listed as "Spares or Repair" or as "Untested" we do not accept returns, if we have missed a fault please return it for a refund.

We use the following grading system for book and boxed games:

Mint - Prefect condition. Will only ever be used if the item is still sealed or personally owned from new and unused.

NM (Near Mint) - Item will appear in new condition. May have fingerprints etc. but no damage and minimal signs of use.

EX (Excellent) - Item will be used, but carefully. Boxes may have a little scuffing. Possibly signs of shelf wear to book corners or spine. Some discolouration to the edges of pages in older books. Hard backed books may show the odd indentation on cover. No tears, creases or writing etc.

VG+ (Very Good Plus) - Item is in good useable condition. Depending on age may have split box corners or a scuffed, stained or compressed box. Books may have small tears, but nothing that affects use. May have a name written inside the fly sheet and possibly the odd annotation, but nothing across the print. Signs of shelf wear to covers or spine. Staples may have started to rust. May have the odd crease or dog eared corner. Map pages and other pull/cut out item may be loose but will be present Item will be complete, intact and perfectly useable.

VG (Very Good) - As above but more minor faults in evidence.

G (Good) - Item is complete and intact but has clearly had a hard life. Spine may be starting to weaken but all pages will be intact. There may be tears but not missing pages. Overall useable but only with care.

F (Fair) - Item may be missing box or cover. Pages may be torn or even missing a few. Generally pretty rough condition. Only the rarest items will be listed in this condition.

P (Poor) - Recognisable as what it once was but badly damaged. Again only the rarest items will be listed in this condition.

The grading of items is a very subjective field and the grading we give is our impression only. We will try to highlight specific problems either in the pictures used or the item description, so please study the images provided and feel free to ask for more detail. We try to be very honest in our grading but we cannot check every page of every book and inevitably we will miss something somewhere - if this is the case for your purchase please get in touch, with photographs, and we will do our best to come to a mutually agreeable solution
