This listing features two (2) vintage 1993 Upper Deck basketball cards #1a and #1b, featuring legendary Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers and LSU Tigers superstar center (C), and NBA Hall Of Fame (HOF) inductee, SHAQUILLE O’NEAL, aka “Shaq”. This is his Rookie Card (RC).

Card #1a was randomly inserted into packs of the first run of cards from this season and you were then able to mail-in #1a in order to receive back #1b. There was only a small 6-month window in which to do this, so there are a lot less of these Trade-In versions than the later version that was eventually put into packs. The Short Print (SP) version says TRADE CARD at the top in gold foil, while the other, more common version included in series of packs released later on has #1 DRAFT PICK in gold foil at the top. Also, notice how card #1a has both a hole punched through it and a TRADED stamp across the top of the back of the card to mark it as having been redeemed.

Nice color. Clear pictures. Print on back of cards is crisp. Front and back surfaces look nice. Corners and edges are still pretty sharp. Cards looks to be pretty well centered. They are in excellent condition for 25+ year old cards!
