Sigma Nu 10K Fraternity Pin. Sigma Nu was founded on Jan. 1st, 1869 at Virginia Military Institute. This pin is from the Phi Chapter. Founded in 1887 at Louisiana State University. Set as the snakes eye is a small ruby. Engraved on the back: D. R. E. Measurements; -Pledge Pin: 5/8" long by 5/8" wide - Chapter Pin: 1/4" long by 1/4" wide -Connecting Chain: 2" long Weight: 4.0 grams This pin has NO gold stamp. It has been acid tested and will be guaranteed as 10K gold. This is a vintage item, it was previously owned. It will have regular wear, such as light surface scratches on the gold.
