A fine and highly rare 18^th-century Roman Catholic Missal. While Missals were regularly published throughout the 1700s, this particular 1784 example is unique in that it was published in the small Bavarian town of Kempten, a town not known for publishing. It also features impressive, full-page allegorical engravings of the life and ministry of Jesus, along with liturgical chant.
