Art Deco 830S Danish Silver Maincure set C A Christensens

This set was made by silver smith company C. A. Christensens Eftf Copenhagen Denmark. The design of these pieces is Art Deco so we would date them to the 1930's.

There are 4 pieces all  marked 830S to the silver handles and two marked CAC for the above maker. Each piece is monogrammed AL. The chrome plated steel sections are marked with the Solingen mark indicating this part of the pieces were made in Germany.

As can be seen three of the four pieces are in really lovely condition. The nail scissors however are broken at one of the handles.

The set comes in its original box with the retailer P Hertz, Copenhagen to the inside lid.

The box is a little scuffed and shows wear to the outside however the inside is clean and the pieces sit in individual recesses.

The pieces will come wrapped in acid free tissue paper, padded with bubble wrap and packed in a box with void fill.

For Imperial measurement users a handy guide is 25mm or 2.5cm is a little less than 1 inch, so 100mm or 10cm is just less than 4 inches.
