This is a rather complete and clean package of what you would find in the glovebox of a new Mercedes 123 in 1977. The owners manual appears to have been flipped though but I cannot find any dirty pages. The service stamp book still has some of the stamps and the data card is one of the cleanest I have ever seen.
The real prize here is the black Catalog of Illustrations. These are very difficult to find it this condition as most of them have fingerprints and dirt all over them. This one is used but still in nice condition. It is clear that someone took it out and looked through it now and then but they didn't leave any grease behind when they did.
For those of you new to the world of older Mercedes this book was how you ordered parts. The dealer would order parts from Mercedes by either part number or by page and item number from this book. Either way would get you your part.
The sleeve is the original plastic sleeve and is not in perfect shape. These started out clear and over the years would yellow out even if kept in the glovebox. This one also has some tears in the top fold but it still holds all the books.
