The vital statistics: one Spain 1881 MS-M 2 pesetas coin, KM #678. Silver, 0.8350 purity; 10.00 g (0.35 oz) weight; actual silver weight 0.2685 troy oz.; 27 mm (1.06 in) diameter. The first pair of images were taken under indoor, "soft white" light, the second pair under natural sunlight.
This coin is in weaker very fine condition. Broad contours of the coin's designs are clear. Some fine details of the reverse coat of arms have been smoothed by wear. Letters and numerals are legible, with the exception of "PLUS ULTRA," parts of which have been worn away. Some minor rim damage. The mint year marks in the obverse stars have been worn away. The coin was cleaned earlier in the chain of ownership.
