Originating within the sediments of large delta's which covered the Cameros Sierra, found near the Navajun mines. Although pyrites are relatively abundant in nature of this calibre, and this quality can only be found in the Navajun mines. Forming part of the most prestigious museums and mineral collections exhibited at the likes of the Smithsonian Institute Museum in Washington, Houston, the Mineral Museum of Paris and many more. This particular Navajun mine dates back to the 1960's and was the only Pyrite mine in the world in production that was exploited exclusively for collectors and interiors around the world.
