THE NORDOFF-ROBBINS MUSIC THERAPY FOUNDATION 2ND ANNUAL EVENT - NOV 15, 1989.

The Nordoff-Robbins foundation supports the ongoing music therapy work at the Nordoff-Robbins center at New York University, in the heart of Greenwich Village in New York City. The foundation also strives to develop and support a variety of music therapy initiatives both at and outside of the center.

The American Music Therapy Association describes music therapy as "the clinical and evidence-based use of music interventions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship by a credentialed professional who has completed an approved music therapy program."

At the Nordoff-Robbins foundation, we believe in the positive impact music therapy can have for clients of all ages.
