All our sisal plaits are made from 100% organic sisal so they are entirely natural and artificial chemical free.
For both large and little ones that love to chew, nibble, gnaw and play, sisal is the perfect play treat, because being a natural plant fibre, if they ingest any of it, it will quickly break down into tiny pieces in their stomachs and so never cause intestinal blockages, which can happen with cotton rope and other toys. Plus, the added bonus of the rough texture of sisal is that it is an excellent dental cleaner when chewed, a bit like dental floss for pets!
Also, being entirely natural plant material, if lost in the woods or on the beach, sisal will biodegrade quickly and harmlessly, so protecting the environment :)
These plaits are each individually handmade by us. They measure approximately 25cm long, and are ideal for small & medium dogs, rabbits and parrots, as well as all our smaller furry and feathered friends! As they are handmade, sizes are approximate and may vary slightly between each one.
Your pack will contain 3 plaits, unless you choose a larger quantity in the drop-down selector. We do offer discounts for quantities, so please be sure to check that you have selected the correct quantity of balls that you want!
Our sisal is sourced directly from a UK supplier, and all of our products are packaged in eco-friendly packaging which is recyclable, biodegradable and compostable where possible.

About Nature's Goodies:
We believe that our planet and every living creature on it is precious, and that organic, sustainable and responsible manufacturing is the key to achieving the best balance for us all.
For us, practising this ethos starts at home. We have numerous pets (fur babies and shell babies) and we try to only ever feed them organic species-appropriate food, and also try as best as possible to only provide them with natural healthy toys. But too much pet food and too many pet toys on the market are loaded with toxic chemicals. So we started making our own.
And this is now why we produce a range of organic natural and healthy enrichment toys for our beloved pets, so that you too can give your beloved animals the very best.
In the near future we will also be adding a range of organic pet treats and also a range of natural biodegradable items for our gardens designed to enhance and encourage wildlife to thrive.

Natural materials:
As so many of our pets like to chew their toys as they play, we only use natural plant-derived materials which, because they are digestible, will not cause any intestinal blockages.
Many of our materials are harvested from our own organic plot or foraged from natural open woodlands, from where they are 100% free from artificial fertilisers and chemical pesticides. And for those materials we have to source from suppliers, we are careful to buy ethical, sustainable and organic products.
Hand-crafted with care:
All of our products are individually hand-made by us as we craft away in our little workshop. This means we can pay careful attention to detail in each and every item that we make.
Eco-friendly:
We take care of our natural environment, so the only materials that we forage are those which are naturally shed or those which are trimmed during practised woodland management processes that encourage our wild species to thrive. All materials that come from wild locations are very carefully cleaned with organic apple cider vinegar which removes any pathogens to ensure they are totally safe for your pets and our wildlife.
All of the packaging that we use is recyclable, and where ever possible, it is also biodegradable and compostable.
