All carts have been repaired and refurbished with foam or felt pads replaced, the foil splice has been inspected and replaced wherever needed. All carts have been played from start to finish without any major flaws noticed. I'm a collector of 8-track tapes myself and I play them nearly constantly in my workshop and these are my surplus duplicates and other titles that i'm not into. I weed out any with egregious problems, and once i have processed them i have no problem playing them in my car or at home on any of my players.

It is important that you keep your deck in top condition, cleaning the head with IPA and using a capstan scrubbing cart every 20 tapes or so provides you the absolute best results and avoiding any possibility of reliability problems!
