A really lovely and unusual quilted serigraph by artist Alice Woodrome. Lovely spring colors and spring theme like tulips and a mother duck with her newborn ducklings. This is not an actual quilt but rather something unusual and different... The COA on the reverse states that the artist's experimentation with different techniques and media let her to silkscreen her original designs onto fabric . The artist was born and raised in Quincy, Illinois, and moved to Oklahoma City in 1961. So it seems to be a folk artist with a very good and established career trajectory. A great addition to your unusual folk art collection. The displayed part of the art measures just under 9inches by just under 13 in. The largest matte measures approximately 16 inches by 20 in. The inner  mattes look pristine. The larger white matte has damage at the corners where it has been bumped. But you could easily display this at a smaller size with all that is pristine. I took an angled photo to show you that that blue mark is on the cellophane only and not on the art. So there are no condition issues with the art, only with the largest matte, which is not really needed anyway. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
