Rick's Custom Morrish Mouse Flies
I was able to source foam backing that is 3 1/2 times thicker than my original
pattern. This allows the mouse to float well on top of the water! The original
foam thickness let the mouse float at the surface with the body submerged.
This new thicker foam is for those who prefer the mouse riding
higher on the water surface!
1 each Morrish Mouse Super Float Fly in "Brown" Color.
I tied these on Umpqua U502 #1 Straight eye hooks.
(these are not cheap sweat shop tied flies!)
Mouse body is tough polyester material, much stronger than deer hair or zonker strips! Leather tail, foam over body and "turned up" head. Head creates nice "V" ripple in water surface
when stripped back in.
Fly is NOT weighted for nice surface float!
Fly is about 2 1/2" in overall length (including tail)
Mouse body is about 1 1/4" Long and about 7/8" wide!
This is a "hand tied" fly not a molded plastic fly!
Fish them on top and strip them in!!!

Don't think you can return these flies just because the fish are not biting, try your luck another day, it will improve!
How ever if you have any problems with my workmanship on these flies, send them back! Now, if some snaggle tooth lunker rips the fly to shreds, be happy you caught him!
