These posters were handed out on November 5, 2012 at the University Village Microsoft Store in Seattle, Washington. The event was held by Microsoft and 343 Industries to kick off the launch of Halo 4. The piece is entitled, "Guardian" by Robogabo and features Cortana and Master Chief on the UNSC Forward Unto Dawn and differs from the larger, numbered lithograph by Acme Archives in that it measures 11 x 17 inches and was the first available version of the artwork. These genuine promotional posters will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.
"As Master Chief and Cortana prepare to defend UNSC Forward Unto Dawn from invaders, she keeps a secret from him. Cortana has reached the end of her life and in the coming days she will cease to function. For years she has protected Master Chief, but now she must find the courage to ask him to save her."
