Description

Up for your consideration is a Very Rare circa 1928-1930 Scammell's Lamberton China Top marked Pennsylvania Army National Guard 2nd Brigade Combat Team Espresso Cup+Saucer. The logo has a lion standing on a red & white Torse. The Lion has a Queue-fourche or split tail and the lion is holding a shield with 3 dots in it and a sword over a red white blue circle crest.  The pieces are decorated with a red & blue pinstripe around the rim. They are marked with the 1928-1930 Scammell Lamberton mark.  This is actual Military china used in the Officers dining room and would not be used by the regular troops. The cup measures about 3-3/8" wide including handle, almost 2-1/2" without the handle and 2-1/4" tall. The Saucer measures about 4-3/4" wide. Both pieces are in great condition with no chips or cracks or excessive wear. I have two sets of this cup and saucer available and both can be combined and shipped to save on shipping.
