Phantom Smoky Quartz Crystal Polished Point Tower Gemstone Rock

This beautiful natural large Smoky Quartz crystal 6 sided polished tower is 4.35 inches tall by 2.5 inches wide and 1.65 inches thick.

It weighs 1 pound.

A Phantom Quartz is a quartz crystal that forms over pre-existing crystals. The included crystal is visible inside the crystal, due to some variation in composition making the outline of the included crystal visible.

This one is cool as you can see the smoky quartz phantom very well on the bottom-and hold it up to a light and you see it about 1 inch tall inside.

Internally you also see a separation or "line" from bottom to top that separates from darker smoky to light smoky or almost clear quartz. 

There are also green chloride inclusions.

As is common with this material is does have many natural internal flaws and inclusions which make for a great scenic crystal.  This one has a "rough" open spot near the base of the point on the front and a resin fill spot on the back.
