Edwardian Women's Boots, Black Leather, by John S Gray Syracuse NY, ca. 1920's. Leather is in very good condition. There are creases and wrinkles, but the leather is not cracked. The lace/tongue area has accumulated dust over the years being displayed on a bookshelf, but it will surely clean up. I personally don't know the best way to clean, condition and protect antique leather goods, so I have not attempted to clean them. I'll leave it to you, the buyer, to decide the safest, most effective way to clean them up.

I'm not sure what size they are and don't seem to be marked. There are some numbers printed on the inner ankle area, but I think they're most likely the form number. There's also a gold screen print of Drexel Shoe Company, Omaha, Nebraska on the upper most part of the inner. I believe this was the retailer. This info is just my best guesses based on the research I've done since obtaining the boots about a year ago. I'm certainly not an expert about antique footwear and information seems sparce when I've looked.
