Wedgwood Moonstone Creamware footed Comport / tazza bowl.

Lovely classically shaped fluted designed bowl with Footed Base.

Wedgwood’s Moonstone matte white glaze [along with its counterpart black glaze, Ravenstone]

was developed in the 1930s by Norman Wilson, master potter, inventor and Wedgwood Works Manager.

More satin or eggshell than matte, the glaze accentuates the vases classic form.

The vase is in great vintage used condition with no chips or cracks.

Diameter: 20.4cm - approx

Depth of bowl: 6cm - approx

The base has the Wedgwood of Etruria and Barlaston Stamp.
