Tubes were sealed in original bulk boxes 100 items.

Four batches of 100 pcs tubes were tested for this selection, all same date october1979. All tubes from this batch were heated separately for about 1 hour, then tested, numbered 1 to 400, results from tests analyzed, selected balanced tubes and from these balanced tubes with the same or very close parameters selected in quads. One quad means 4 tubes = 8 internal triodes with plate current not more far than +/-2.5% from their average, the same for transconductance. In the pictures you can see an example of all measured parameters for 2 quads, they are exceptional and rare. The tubes were burned an hour before tests, for higher precision and accuracy at tests.
