This auction is for a very good looking small Etui case for what looks to be drawing instruments, I think that now some of the components are later and not original but its a very good honest item which has been recently bought from an old estate sale, it was with other items we bought and the overall condition is really very good, the shagreen is the very fine older style and still has its rich deep green colour and its all present still, the edge has the 2 sides lifting a bit so it will need sticking back down but I assume its got to be with special adhesives so we have not addressed the issue as its a minor thing. The mounts look to be Silver and test as such but we can not find any hallmarks so being sold as white metal.

Sold now as a good estate find project with great patina and a wonderful original Shagreen case plus other bits, nothing more.

I have seen these sell for huge sums when complete and named, a great item.

Size: approx 9.5 cm tall & 4.5 cm across the widest point of the side.

Sold as 100% period correct and an original antique item not a later copy, please look at our feedback which is almost all from sales, thanks.

Please look at the images and read the description and if you have any questions, please ask away...

International postage is based on worse case, if you want it sending to Europe and it works out cheaper then after fee's etc we would refund your excess postage that has been charged, this goes for wherever its sent, please have in mind though that Ebay and paypal charge collectively 15% of the postage fee's as well as the sale, thanks.
