Includes 2 truly rare issues!

3 are bicentennial issues, plus 1 special edition from 1976 on the American south.

Lot is made up of 2 Thomas Jefferson cover issues dated July 4 1976, 1 George Washington cover issue dated September 1976 and 1 "The South Today" special issue, also dated September 1976.

The 2nd copy of Thomas Jefferson issue is a special printing for promotional use that is free of advertising, and in this case, was distributed compliments of Citizens Bank. It is only 57 pages, compared to the commercial version with 79 pages, about 20 of which are wonderful period advertising.

The September George  Washington issue is the commercial version.

The 2nd rare find is The South Today: Carter Country and Beyond, also distributed in September 1976.   This special edition examines culture, politics, business and society of the southern US at that time.

Together, this small collection offers the reader/collector/reasercher a wonderful and unique set of ephemera that provides a snapshot of the United States at an extraordinary and special time in history.

All 4 issues are in very good condition. South issue has small split at bottom of cover.
