Canadian Western Lumber Company Ltd. was based in Fraser Mills, B.C., and owned sawmills and a variety of lumber/timber operations. 

The company began as the MacLaren Ross Lumber Company at Fraser Mills (then known as Millside) in 1889. 

In ca. 1910, the company's name was changed to Canadian Western Lumber Company. 

It amalgamated with Crown Zellerbach Corporation in 1956.
