WINDING RIBBON ONTO PRE-EXISTING SPOOLS**

Even if you have a typewriter that will not accept these spools, the ribbon itself can be used in any machine that accepts 1/2" ribbon. If the spools do not fit you can use appropriately sized spools (the ones already on you machine) and wind the ribbon onto those.
