Sebastian Miniature The Old Covered Bridge 1976 SML-232A
Sebastian Miniatures was started in Massachusetts in 1945, by Prescott W. Baston. Their hand-cast and hand-painted pieces are prized by Sebastian Miniature collectors.
In this traditional New England scene, Baston portrayed a red bridge
spanning over a rocky river basin, as a horse-drawn carriage emerges
from the bridge.
Dates/Marks: 1976. Retired in
1996. Side of base reads, "copr 1954 P.W. Baston." The original
Sebastian (Hudson) sticker is on the base, along with the faint initials
of the artist.
