These steel & aluminum openers keys were crucial to ensure water-resistance & went into a Rolex bench press that likely very few vintage Rolex aficionado have seen before, the alloy ones were for gold & silver as not to cause damage to the soft metal being the first Oysters cushion & the hexagonal shape likely similar to the one Mercedes Gleitze the first woman to swim the English Channel in freezing waters in 1927 - Rolex equipped the Oyster with a fluted bezel not just aesthetics but to enable screwing it down against the middle-case to ensure water-resistance for a reliable waterproofing - All pics are of the actual lot itself - Selling as pictured & as described
