Super Vintage Ludwig 25'-35' Super-Ludwig Sensitive Brass 14"x5" from Japan
Description
As mentioned in the Ludwig Book, this is a valuable snare that was manufactured for only 10 years from 1925 to 1935.
It is a snare drum of the era when the drum set was not so popular at that time.
I removed the head and checked the inside of the shell, but it is an elaborately made drum that does not seem to be a drum more than 90 years ago. The original seamless shell.
The brass shell at that time had a warmer and more rounded sound than the current brass. It makes a very soft sound.
Also, because it is equipped with the snappy (Super Sensitive, around the entire surface) at that time, it responds well to even the finest sounds, just like the original "Super Sensitive".
It is SUPER LUDWIG of the era before the inner part of SUPER LUDWIG (BRASS SHELL) appeared from the latter half of the 1950s.
The snappy operation seems complicated, but it is very easy to use and can be switched ON / OFF smoothly.
The hoop is from this era, but it is in good condition and is similar to a perfect circle.
Only one part that fixes the guard of the strainer switch butt to the bolt and one bolt have been replaced.
Also, since it is a real vintage drum over 90 years ago, I polished it, but there are some rusts.
(Both heads are made by the current LUDWIG) Everything else is a miraculous one with original parts installed.
It has a considerable vintage drum aura and is valuable, but the staff removed the rug and overhauled everything, so it is one that can be used with confidence.
