Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 40cm f6.3 lens with Iris Diaphragm.

The Tessar is a photographic lens design conceived by the German physicist Paul Rudolph in 1902 while he worked at the Zeiss optical company and patented by Zeiss in Germany, the lens type is usually known as the Zeiss Tessar.

The lens has a large coverage for 5x7 inches (13x18cm). Produced circa 1920.

Optic/Glass: No scratches, haze or fungus, only the normal little cleaning marks on the front surface. Clean and clear lenses, perfect for use.
