Keep your existing brake levers whilst upgrading your power system. These can be used on both front and rear brakes which will allow you to cut off the electric system on your electric bike. The magnet is fixed on the moving brake lever and the sensor appropriately located 5mm away on the stationary brake mount. 

It works as an open switch until a magnet is presented allowing it to close the circuit and function.
